Meet Something Springy:
Soon after I designed Scrap Attack, I was contacted by Quiltmaker to see if I could design a similar block for their 100 Blocks issue.
Something Springy is very similar in the design concept to Scrap Attack, but just a little different… I was pretty excited when they sent me the magazine and my block made the cover!
It was definitely an exciting accomplishment so early on in my designing! And it is still! I don’t take all of these moments for granted.
It’s actually been a really neat experience to dive deep into each of these patterns and remember so many amazing opportunities I’ve had during my quilting journey. Thank you for joining me as I walk down memory lane!
Another layout I played with when I created this pattern was shrinking the block and combining the two sizes into a quilt.
What do you think of this?? Yay? or Nay?
Your Something Springy projects:
These are so great! I love the color combos and the creativity for using these in a finished project!
All the love!!
