Celestial Star

Meet Celestial Star:

I designed and made my first Celestial Star pillow in May 2013. (9 years ago! Crazy!!)

I used my Liberty London fabrics for this one!

In July of 2014 I hosted the Celestial Star Quilt Along and it was SOO much fun! You can find the Tutorials and links to the original QAL HERE:

Tutorial: Cutting Fabric
These tutorials include hands down my favorite paper piecing techniques and tips for planning and making quilts or quilt blocks for other projects.

Did you participate in the Celestial Star QAL?? If yes, leave a comment! I’d love to see who’s still around! <3

My Celestial Star QAL quilt

I used all Anna Maria Horner fabrics for this quilt and I LOVE love how it turned out!! This was such a blast to make – from designing each block to piecing the blocks and watching them all transform into something different.

More Quilts from the QAL!

Everyone did SUCH an amazing job!!

What I love most about this pattern is how despite it being the same single quilt block pattern, everyone’s quilts and blocks turned out SOOO differently!!

The ideas are endless!!

More Celestial Star projects

Of all of my patterns, besides my alphabet patterns, this is hands down the most made pattern I have! At least I’ve seen by far the most projects with this pattern than any other pattern. So unless y’all are holding out on me and not sharing your photos of projects with other patterns 😉 , this is number 1!

Did you know...

The Celestial Star COMES WITH the border pattern that you see in some of the projects?!

Here are just some of the projects that include the optional border pattern:

What do you think??

Are you ready to give this pattern a try??

The pattern also includes coloring pages – so you can test out your designs and color/fabric combos BEFORE cutting into your favorite fabrics!

There are lots of instructions, and everything you need to make the pattern.

It also comes in multiple sizes – for an even wider variety of projects you can use this for!

I’d love to hear what you think!

Do you like it?!

Which project is your favorite?

Are you buying the pattern?
